There’ll be a new face in charge of England U19s when the Young Lions return to match action with a friendly against Russia at Shrewsbury Town’s ProStar Stadium on 8 September. The game sees Noel Blake taking over the U19 Head Coach reins from Brian Eastick, who successfully led the squad to a runners-up finish at the European Championship Finals in Ukraine earlier this month.

An 18-man squad has been named by England U19 Head Coach Brian Eastick for this month's European U19 Championship Elite Round qualifiers. The Young Lions take on Bosnia-Herzegovina, Scotland and Slovakia in Yorkshire, where they will hope to finish top of their group and secure a spot in July's finals which take place in Ukraine.

England U19s will continue their preparations for the European Championship Elite Qualifying Round next month, when they host Czech Republic at Walsall FC’s Banks's Stadium.
